I cooked up some short ribs tonight. It is amazing how steady she held the temp. I set it for 275 degrees and once I had it dialed in, it stayed within 10 degrees for the entire four hour cook.
I bought a Vision Classic first to make sure I liked Kamado cooking. I figured a $600 mistake would be easier to swallow than a $2000 mistake. After several weeks with the Vision, I was convinced that a ceramic grill was for me. The only issue I had with the Vision was that it was a bit small for my cooking needs. I is really great for four to six people. At last count, I think I have fourteen between my kids, their spouses and my grandkids. Plus we sometimes entertain groups nearly as large as the family. It is much easier to cook for a group on the Primo. I am very pleased with it
