My AKORN (Red) is Here

I ordered the Char-Griller AKORN Kamado from http://www.grillsdirect.com/ ($349 / Free Shipping)
on Tuesday late afternoon. It Arrived around 3PM the next day, I did not expect that.

I am laying the parts out now in prepartion for putting it together. I must say I am very impressed with quality and workman ship. This is a very nice grill, I am not sure how they make money at $300 a Grill.

I am looking forward to my first meal using the Kamado. I have never used a Kamado before. It been a awhile since I have done any out door cooking, I got turned off when I used the cheesy gas grills and wound up with sorta warm grey meat.[/color]

Any suggestions for a easy meal for a starter ?

Try at least a 300% markup.

Thats how retailers make money.

Most of the products I sell to retailers, (which almost everyone on this website has) are marked up 300-500%.

Kroger and other retailers aren't losing a dime selling Alorns at $100.

Your warm gray meat is a result of grilling at temps that are too low.

Easy meal.....grill a burger.
